Privacy Policy

Last updated: 25 July 2026

Peptologique BioLabs Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit our website or place an order with us, how we use and protect that data, and the rights you have over it. It applies to our website and to any orders, enquiries, or other dealings you have with us.

For the purposes of the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018, the data controller is:

Peptologique BioLabs Ltd
Company number: 17149399
Email: support@peptologique.com

Please read this policy carefully. By using our website or purchasing from us, you acknowledge that you have read and understood how we handle your personal data as described here.

The personal data we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect and process the following categories of personal data:

Identity and contact details — your name, billing address, delivery address, email address, and telephone number.

Order and transaction information — details of the products you view, add to your basket, or purchase; your order history; and the reference details associated with your payment.

Payment information — where you pay by PayPal, your payment is processed by PayPal and we do not receive or store your full card details. Where you pay by bank transfer, we receive the payment reference and the fact that payment has been made; we do not store your bank login or card details.

Account information — if you create an account, your username, password (stored in encrypted form), and saved preferences or addresses.

Communications — the content of messages, emails, or enquiries you send us, and our replies.

Technical and usage data — your IP address, browser type and version, device information, and information about how you use our website, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

We do not intentionally collect any special category (sensitive) personal data through our website.

How we collect your data

We collect personal data:

Directly from you — when you place an order, create an account, contact us, or otherwise provide information to us.

Automatically — when you use our website, through cookies and similar technologies that record technical and usage data.

From third parties — for example, our payment provider (PayPal) confirms that a payment has been completed, and our hosting and delivery partners may pass us information necessary to fulfil your order.

How we use your data and our lawful bases

We only use your personal data where the law allows us to. The lawful bases we rely on are set out below.

To process and fulfil your orders — including taking payment, arranging despatch and delivery, providing order confirmations and updates, and handling returns or cancellations. Lawful basis: performance of a contract with you.

To respond to your enquiries and provide customer support — including answering questions about products, orders, batches, or documentation. Lawful basis: performance of a contract, or our legitimate interests in responding to you.

To operate, maintain, and secure our website and business — including preventing and detecting fraud, misuse, or unlawful activity, and keeping our systems secure. Lawful basis: our legitimate interests in running a safe and effective business.

To comply with our legal obligations — including keeping accounting and tax records and responding to lawful requests from authorities. Lawful basis: compliance with a legal obligation.

To send marketing communications — only where you have asked us to or otherwise given your consent. We do not currently operate a marketing mailing list; if we introduce one, we will only add you with your consent and you will be able to unsubscribe at any time. Lawful basis: consent.

Marketing

We do not currently send marketing or promotional emails. The only emails we send in the normal course are transactional messages relating to your order (for example order confirmations and despatch notices), which are necessary to fulfil your purchase.

If we introduce a newsletter or marketing emails in future, we will ask for your consent first, and every marketing message will include an easy way to opt out. Opting out of marketing will not affect the transactional emails needed to complete your orders.

Cookies and analytics

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. Some are strictly necessary to make the site work — for example, to remember the contents of your basket and to enable secure checkout — and these cannot be switched off.

We may also use analytics cookies to understand how visitors use our website so we can improve it. Where analytics or other non-essential cookies are used, we will request your consent through our cookie banner, and you can change or withdraw your choice at any time through your browser settings or our cookie controls. You can also set your browser to refuse some or all cookies, though parts of the site may not function properly if you do.

Who we share your data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only where necessary, with the following categories of recipient:

Payment providers — PayPal, to process payments you make by PayPal. PayPal handles your payment data under its own privacy policy.

Delivery and fulfilment partners — Royal Mail and any courier we use to deliver your order, who receive the name and delivery address needed to complete despatch.

Our website host and IT providers — including our hosting provider, who stores website and order data on our behalf under appropriate safeguards.

Professional advisers and authorities — such as our accountants, or law enforcement, regulators, or other authorities where we are required to disclose information by law.

We require anyone who processes personal data on our behalf to keep it secure and to use it only for the purposes we specify.

International data transfers

We aim to keep your personal data within the UK and European Economic Area (EEA). Some of our service providers (for example payment or technology providers) may process data outside the UK or EEA. Where this happens, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place — such as the UK’s International Data Transfer Agreement, the International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or transfers to countries the UK has determined provide an adequate level of protection.

How long we keep your data

We keep your personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy. In particular:

Order and transaction records are kept for at least six years to meet our legal and tax obligations (HMRC requires business and accounting records to be retained for this period).

Account information is kept for as long as your account remains active, and for a reasonable period afterwards.

Enquiry and correspondence records are kept only for as long as needed to deal with the matter and any follow-up.

When we no longer need your personal data, we securely delete or anonymise it.

Data security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, or alteration. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. We recommend you do not send us sensitive information through insecure channels.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:

The right to be informed about how we use your data (which this policy provides).

The right of access — to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

The right to rectification — to have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected.

The right to erasure — to ask us to delete your data in certain circumstances.

The right to restrict processing — to ask us to limit how we use your data in certain circumstances.

The right to data portability — to receive certain data in a portable format and to have it transferred to another controller where technically feasible.

The right to object — to object to processing based on our legitimate interests, and to object to direct marketing at any time.

Rights relating to consent — where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at support@peptologique.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding. We will respond within the timeframes required by law (usually within one month).
